Corona pandemic: Global death toll hits 6,107,347, cases exceed 473 million

LONDON: 22, MARCH, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 473 million (473,043,495) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 6,107,347 lives worldwide so far and 409,180,222 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 81,448,402 and the total number of deaths has reached 998,840.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 43,010,971 cases with 516,574 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 29,641,848 patients and 657,363 deaths.
The coronavirus has infected 24,161,339 people in France and left 141,085 dead.
In UK, the virus infections reached 20,319,434 and death toll rose to 163,679.
Germany registered 19,017,693 patients with 127,739 deaths.
In Russia, 17,637,795 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 365,373.
Turkey reported 14,708,850 cases so far while death toll jumped to 97,347.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 157,904 in Italy while 13,895,188 infections recorded.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 11,324,637 with 101,703 deaths.
The death toll from Coronavirus in South korea has risen nearly 13,141 with 9,936,540 people affected.
Argentina recorded 9,011,367 COVID-19 cases with 127,599 fatalities so far.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Vietnam has jumped to 8,089,761 and 41,949 have been died.
