Coronavirus claims 11 more lives in Pakistan, 400 cases reported

ISLAMABAD: 09, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus infections tally in the country has reached 1,277,560 on Tuesday after more cases were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 400 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 0.94 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 472,213 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 441,257, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 178,687, in Balochistan 33,345 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,169, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,394 while 34,495 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,558 deaths so far, after 11 fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 12,954 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 7,598 in Sindh, 5,774 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 357 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 944 deaths and AJK recorded 741 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,185,396, corona tests and 42,373 in last 24 hours and 1,226,157 patients have recovered.
Reportedly, 451,392 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 420,603 in Punjab, 171,487 in KP, 32,868 in Balochistan, 105,912 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 10,189 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 33,706 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan whereas 1,206 patients are in critical condition.
