Coronavirus infects 350 more people in Pakistan, kills nine

ISLAMABAD: 24, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus cases tally in the country has climbed to 1,282,860 on Wednesday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 350 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 0.92 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 474,573 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 442,638, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 179,720, in Balochistan 33,456 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,525, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,410 while 34,538 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,677 deaths so far, after nine fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 13,005 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 7,613 in Sindh, 5,821 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 358 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 952 deaths and AJK recorded 742 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,755,675, corona tests and 38,038 in last 24 hours and 1,239,995 patients have recovered.
Reportedly, 459,962 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 423,946 in Punjab, 172,802 in KP, 33,025 in Balochistan, 106,290 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 10,211 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 33,759 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan whereas 1,007 patients are in critical condition.
