Covid-19: Pakistan reports 391 new cases with nine fatalities

ISLAMABAD: 12, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus cases tally in the country has jumped to 1,279,142 on Friday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 391 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 1.01 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 473,052 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 441,631, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 178,926, in Balochistan 33,383 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,249, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,400 while 34,501 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,584 deaths so far, after nine fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,318,930, corona tests and 38,524 in last 24 hours and 1,227,228 patients have recovered whereas 1,156 patients are in critical condition. (04)
