Covid-19 cases pass 231 million worldwide, deaths hit 4,751,389

WASHINGTON: 25, SEPTEMBER, 2021: The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide has crossed 231 million (231,901,442) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,751,389 lives worldwide so far and 208,502,479 patients have been recuperated.

Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 10 affected countries:

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 43,669,696 and the total number of deaths has reached 705,293. 

India, the second hardest-hit country reported 33,623,072 cases with 446,690 deaths.

Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,327,616 patients and 593,698 deaths.

In UK, the virus infections reached 7,601,487 and death toll rose to 135,983.

In Russia, 7,376,374 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 202,273.

Turkey reported 6,987,494 cases so far while death toll jumped to 62,745.

The coronavirus has infected 6,983,601 people in France and left 116,420 dead.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,508,885 and 118,792 have been died.

Argentina recorded 5,248,847 COVID-19 cases with 114,828 fatalities so far.

The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,948,513 and death toll crossed 126,068.

Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,946,601 with 86,229 deaths.

The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 130,603 in Italy while 4,653,696 infections recorded.

Indonesia reported 4,204,116 cases so far with 141,258 fatalities.

On the other hand, Germany registered 4,194,549 patients with 93,933 deaths.

The death toll from Coronavirus in Mexico has risen 274,703 with 3,619,115 people affected. (04)
