Covid-19 death toll exceeds 6,020,582 worldwide, infections hit 448 million


LONDON: 08, MARCH, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 448 million (448,189,883) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 6,027,489 lives worldwide so far and 382,358,533 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 80,979,977 and the total number of deaths has reached 985,914.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 42,971,308 cases with 515,241 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 29,069,469 patients and 652,418 deaths.
The coronavirus has infected 23,071,822 people in France and left 139,451 dead.
In UK, the virus infections reached 19,245,301 and death toll rose to 162,147.
In Russia, 17,014,818 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 356,949.
Germany registered 15,951,350 patients with 124,716 deaths.
Turkey reported 14,388,231 cases so far while death toll jumped to 95,681.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 156,017 in Italy while 13,048,774 infections recorded.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 11,136,425 with 100,574 deaths.
Argentina recorded 8,942,888 COVID-19 cases with 126,842 fatalities so far.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 7,096,318 and 138,116 have been died.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Netherlands has risen nearly 21,612 with 6,771,643 people affected.
