Covid-19 infections pass 226 million worldwide, deaths hit 4,652,663

WASHINGTON: 14, SEPTEMBER, 2021: The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide has crossed 226 million (226,105,771) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,652,663 lives worldwide so far and 202,749,075 patients have been recuperated.

Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 10 affected countries:

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 42,140,103 and the total number of deaths has reached 680,274. 

India, the second hardest-hit country reported 33,288,021 cases with 443,247 deaths.

Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,006,424 patients and 587,138 deaths.

In UK, the virus infections reached 7,256,559 and death toll rose to 134,261.

In Russia, 7,158,248 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 193,468.

The coronavirus has infected 6,907,133 people in France and left 115,603 dead.

Turkey reported 6,682,864 cases so far while death toll jumped to 60,117.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,318,327 and 114,759 have been died.

Argentina recorded 5,226,831 COVID-19 cases with 113,640 fatalities so far.

The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,931,563 and death toll crossed 125,687.

Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,915,265 with 85,393 deaths.

The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 129,955 in Italy while 4,609,205 infections recorded.

Indonesia reported 4,170,088 cases so far with 139,165 fatalities.

On the other hand, Germany registered 4,095,371 patients with 93,250 deaths.

The death toll from Coronavirus in Mexico has risen 267,969 with 3,516,043 people affected. (04)
