Covid-19 infections tally passes 311 million worldwide, death toll exceeds 5,512,468

LONDON: 11, JANUARY, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 311 million (311,099,080) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,512,468 lives worldwide so far and 260,673,035 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 62,661,272 and the total number of deaths has reached 861,336.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 35,875,790 cases with 484,213 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,558,695 patients and 620,142 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 14,617,314 and death toll rose to 150,230.
The coronavirus has infected 12,205,114 people in France and left 125,718 dead.
In Russia, 10,666,679 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 316,904.
Turkey reported 10,043,688 cases so far while death toll jumped to 83,843.
Germany registered 7,570,248 patients with 114,887 deaths.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 139,265 in Italy while 7,538,701 infections recorded.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 7,457,300 with 90,136 deaths.
Argentina recorded 6,399,196 COVID-19 cases with 117,543 fatalities so far.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,208,337 and 131,915 have been died.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,357,767 and death toll crossed 130,395.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 144,136 with 4,266,649 people affected. (04)
