Covid-19 infects 483 More People In Pakistan, Kills two in single day

ISLAMABAD: 19, MARCH, 2022: Covid-19 cases tally in the country has jumped to 1,521,513 on Saturday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 483 persons infected with the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 1.23 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 573,347 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 504,324, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 218,583, in Balochistan 35,458 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 134,930, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 11,662 while 43,209 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 30,328 deaths so far, after two deaths were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 13,547 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 8,091 in Sindh, 6,307 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 191 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 378 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 1,022 deaths and AJK recorded 792 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 27,112,283 corona tests and 39,067 in last 24 hours and 1,475,473 patients have been recovered.
Reportedly, 553,777 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 487,959 in Punjab, 211,267 in KP, 35,050 in Balochistan, 133,658 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 11,388 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 42,374 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan while 503 patients are in critical condition.
