Covid-19 pandemic: Deaths exceed 5,184,373 worldwide, cases cross 259 million

LONDON: 24, NOVEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 infections worldwide passed 259 million (259,094,944) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,184,373 lives worldwide so far and 234,444,576 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 48,835,216 and the total number of deaths has reached 796,319.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,535,763 cases with 466,584 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,038,731 patients and 613,240 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 9,932,408 and death toll rose to 144,137.
In Russia, 9,400,835 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 266,579.
Turkey reported 8,624,580 cases so far while death toll jumped to 75,443.
The coronavirus has infected 7,450,691 people in France and left 118,653 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,088,009 and 129,177 have been died.
Germany registered 5,472,949 patients with 100,160 deaths.
Argentina recorded 5,317,633 COVID-19 cases with 116,415 fatalities so far.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,103,315 with 87,866 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,052,733 and death toll crossed 128,188.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 133,330 in Italy while 4,942,135 infections recorded.
