WASHINGTON: 20, DECEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 275 million (275,017,427) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,370,457 lives worldwide so far and 246,766,389 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 51,765,714 and the total number of deaths has reached 827,323.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,746,838 cases with 477,554 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,213,762 patients and 617,838 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 11,361,387 and death toll rose to 147,218.
In Russia, 10,214,790 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 297,203.
Turkey reported 9,171,119 cases so far while death toll jumped to 80,415.
The coronavirus has infected 8,625,849 people in France and left 121,493 dead.
Germany registered 6,812,736 patients with 108,963 deaths.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,170,979 and 131,083 have been died.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,455,527 with 88,708 deaths.
Argentina recorded 5,389,707 COVID-19 cases with 116,903 fatalities so far.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 135,641 in Italy while 5,389,155 infections recorded.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,107,323 and death toll crossed 129,458.
