Covid-19 pandemic kills 5,465,963 worldwide so far


LONDON: 04, JANUARY, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 292 million (292,996,113) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,465,963 lives worldwide so far and 255,418,460 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 57,131,187 and the total number of deaths has reached 848,885.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,960,261 cases with 482,017 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,305,078 patients and 619,245 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 13,422,815 and death toll rose to 148,893.
In Russia, 10,554,309 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 311,353.
The coronavirus has infected 10,317,819 people in France and left 124,212 dead.
Turkey reported 9,597,670 cases so far while death toll jumped to 82,795.
Germany registered 7,235,135 patients with 113,074 deaths.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 6,667,511 with 89,573 deaths.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 137,786 in Italy while 6,396,110 infections recorded.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,198,590 and 131,702 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,739,326 COVID-19 cases with 117,245 fatalities so far.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,191,021 and death toll crossed 130,061.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 144,102 with 4,263,433 people affected. (04)
