LONDON: 12, JANUARY, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 314 million (314,182,349) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,521,528 lives worldwide so far and 261,787,027 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 63,390,876 and the total number of deaths has reached 863,896.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 36,070,510 cases with 484,655 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,630,142 patients and 620,281 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 14,732,594 and death toll rose to 150,609.
The coronavirus has infected 12,573,263 people in France and left 126,059 dead.
In Russia, 10,684,204 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 317,687.
Turkey reported 10,117,954 cases so far while death toll jumped to 83,980.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 139,559 in Italy while 7,774,863 infections recorded.
Germany registered 7,631,453 patients with 115,274 deaths.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 7,592,242 with 90,383 deaths.
Argentina recorded 6,533,635 COVID-19 cases with 117,595 fatalities so far.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,210,298 and 131,940 have been died.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,380,841 and death toll crossed 130,460.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 144,144 with 4,267,451 people affected. (04)
