Death toll from coronavirus touches 4,663,045 worldwide

WASHINGTON: 15, SEPTEMBER, 2021: The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide has crossed 226 million (226,672,138) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,663,045 lives worldwide so far and 203,373,594 patients have been recuperated.

Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 10 affected countries:

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 42,288,205 and the total number of deaths has reached 682,341. 

India, the second hardest-hit country reported 33,315,512 cases with 443,528 deaths.

Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,019,830 patients and 587,847 deaths.

In UK, the virus infections reached 7,282,810 and death toll rose to 134,446.

In Russia, 7,176,085 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 194,249.

The coronavirus has infected 6,917,460 people in France and left 115,697 dead.

Turkey reported 6,710,666 cases so far while death toll jumped to 60,393.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,340,656 and 115,167 have been died.

Argentina recorded 5,229,848 COVID-19 cases with 113,816 fatalities so far.

The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,932,998 and death toll crossed 125,713.

Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,918,526 with 85,548 deaths.

The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 130,027 in Italy while 4,613,214 infections recorded.

Indonesia reported 4,174,216 cases so far with 139,415 fatalities.

On the other hand, Germany registered 4,104,216 patients with 93,319 deaths.

The death toll from Coronavirus in Mexico has risen 269,015 with 3,528,972 people affected. (04)
