Deaths from coronavirus exceed 5,634,665 worldwide, cases cross 359 million

LONDON: 26, JANUARY, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 359 million (359,349,527) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,634,665 lives worldwide so far and 284,784,232 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 73,449,185 and the total number of deaths has reached 894,880.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 40,085,116 cases with 491,154 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 24,334,072 patients and 623,901 deaths.
The coronavirus has infected 17,302,548 people in France and left 129,489 dead.
In UK, the virus infections reached 16,047,716 and death toll rose to 154,356.
In Russia, 11,241,109 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 327,448.
Turkey reported 11,090,493 cases so far while death toll jumped to 86,299.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 144,343 in Italy while 10,212,621 infections recorded.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 9,395,767 with 92,376 deaths.
Germany registered 8,956,515 patients with 117,699 deaths.
Argentina recorded 8,041,520 COVID-19 cases with 119,703 fatalities so far.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,267,559 and 132,274 have been died.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,780,910 and death toll crossed 132,737.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Mexico has risen nearly 303,776 with 4,730,669 people affected. (04)
