LASBELA: 20, JANUARY, 2021: At least eight persons lost their lives while 22 others were seriously injured as a bus turned turtle near Lasbela, Balochistan province in the wee hours of Wednesday.

According to details, the fatal traffic incident took place in Othal area near Lasbela, a coastal district of Balochistan province where a speedy bus overturned, as a  result, eight people including two Levies personnel died on the spot and 22 others were critically wounded. 

After being informed about the accident, rescue teams rushed to the scene and moved the dead and injured to hospital.

The ill-fated bus was travelling to Karachi from Quetta. 

Earlier, on October 24, At least five persons were burnt alive while two others wounded after a passenger coach caught fire in Wadh Tehsil of Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Friday.

According to details, the tragic incident took place at Kararo Wadh Tehsil of Khuzdar district of Balochistan, where a fire broke out in passenger coach, as a result five people were burnt to death and two others were injured in the blaze.

Sources informed that, the ill-fated coach was traveling from Karachi to Quetta.

The bus was completely destroyed by the fire, sources added.

On the other hand, according to Levies officials, the fire was so severe that the passengers could not save their lives.

The dead bodies and injured were shifted to hospital. (04)
