England Cricket Board confirms PCB invitation for three T20I series

LAHORE: 16, OCTOBER, 2020: England Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed the invitation from the Pakistan Cricket Board to visit to the country.
According to the England Cricket Board, the Pakistan Cricket Board has invited England for a three-match T20 international series in January next year.
The final decision in this regard will be taken after consultation with the PCB and other stakeholders and the ECB will play its role in reviving international cricket in Pakistan.
The ECB says security and health issues will have to be looked at before the proposed visit to Pakistan.
On the other hand, PCB chief executive Wasim Khan said that he has formally written a letter to the England Cricket Board for three T20 matches for which an invitation has been extended in January.
England have not played in Pakistan since the 2005-06 season when the team toured for a Test and one-day series. (04)
