FBR seeks record from 14 private hospitals in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: 22, FEBRUARY, 2020: The Federal Board of Revenue on Saturday has sought records from 14 private hospitals in Peshawar for concealing income and assets of doctors.
According to sources, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has begun a crackdown against doctors and physicians.
Hospitals that do not provide inforamtion about doctor are also being fined, in the process.
The FBR has also obtained a record of bank accounts of extra-ordinary income of doctors and their outdoor tours.
On the other hand, information is also being collected about pharmaceutical companies sending doctors to overseas tours.
The department have started collecting details of doctors' personal hospitals with worth million of rupees at various locations in the city including City Area, Kent Area, Town Area, Hayatabad.
Proformas have been issued to the hospitals in which the details of the doctors have been sought. (04)
