Federal Cabinet meeting to be held today to discuss 15-point agenda

ISLAMABAD: 07, SEPTEMBER, 2021: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the federal cabinet meeting today (Tuesday) in Islamabad to discuss a 15-point agenda including economic and political situation as well as the Afghan situation. 

According to sources, the meeting will take place at the Prime Minister's Office. 

The cabinet will give approval for the appointment of the Chief executive Officer of Pakistan Expo centres.

Legislation related to Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will also be dicussed in the meeting.

The Interior Ministry will give a briefing on the upcoming visit of the New Zealand cricket team to Pakistan. 

Sources said that the cabinet will also give one-time permission to import 2 crane trucks for the wind power project. 

The meeting will give approval of voluntary severance package for PMC employees while approval of the 'Golden Handshake Scheme' for employees is also a part of the agenda. 

The nomination of members of the National Council of Medicine will be approved while the approval of decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) and Cabinet Committee on Transport and Logistics are also part of agenda of the session. (04)
