Fire breaks out at plastic warehouse in Karachi

KARACHI: 28, NOVEMBER, 2020: Fire broke out at a plastic godown located in Shershah area of Karachi on Friday night which spread rapidly and engulfed the entire building of the warehouse.
After being informed, three fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
Sources informed that the fire erupted when power wires fell on plastic bags. No casualty or injuries was reported in the incident, however, plastic material and other valuables worth millions of rupees were burnt to ashes.
Earlier, on November 17, fire erupted at cloths warehouse located near Sher Shah Graveyard in Karachi on late Monday night which spread quickly and engulfed the entire building.
After being informed, four fire brigade vehicles reached at the location and brought the fire under control.
According to fire brigade officials, the blaze has badly damaged the godown.
No human loss was reported in the fire incident, however, valuables worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes by the blaze. (04)
