KARACHI: 30, MARCH, 2021: Fire broke out in the Furniture Market located in Liaquatabad area of Karachi in the wee hours of Tuesday which spread very quickly and engulfed entire three-storey building. 

After getting information about the incident, five fire brigade vehicles rushed the spot and commenced operation to control the blaze which is still raging. 

No human loss or injuries was reported in the incident. However, valuables worth million of rupees were destroyed by fire.

The cause of fire is not yet known, rescue sources added. 

Earlier, on March 10, fire erupted at a chemical godown located in the Site Area of Karachi in Karachi on late Tuesday night which spread rapidly and engulfed the entire warehouse.

According to details, six fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of several hours.

No loss of life or injuries was reported in the incident, however, chemicals and other valuables worth million of rupees were burnt to ashes. (04)
