Fire in Sahiwal iron store extinguished

SAHIWAL: 18, JANUARY, 2022: Fire that erupted in an iron store in Sahiwal on late Monday night has been doused.
According to details, the fire broke out in an iron store located in the Saddar Bazaar area of Sahiwal which spread rapidly and engulfed three nearby shops and four houses.
After getting information, fire brigade and rescue teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control after hectic effort of several hours.
The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained, sources said.
Rescue sources, no human loss or injuries was reported in the incident.
Earlier, on January 13, fire erupted in a carpet godown in Karachi in the wee hours of Thursday which spread rapidly and engulfed entire building of warehouse.
According to details, fire broke out in a carpet warehouse located in the Baloch Colony area of Karachi.
On receiving information about the incident, four fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and to control the blaze.
No loss of life was reported in the blaze which is still raging with full intensity. (04)
