Four dead in two separate road mishaps in Punjab

PATTOKI: 13, NOVEMBER, 2021: At least four people dead in two separate road mishaps in Punjab on late Friday night.
According to details, the first accident took place near Halla Bypass in Pattoki where an over-speeding trailer hit a motorbike, as a result, motorcyclist died on the spot.
After being informed, rescue teams reached the spot and moved the dead to hospital for further medico-legal formalities.
Another road crash occurred at the Jalalpur Road in Hafizabad where a rashly driven truck collided with a motorcycle, killing three persons including a man and his son.
On receiving information about the accident, rescue workers rushed at the location and transferred the dead bodies to hospital.
Later, the bodies were handed over to kin.
Earlier, on October 21, at least three people lost their lives while three others were critically wounded when a truck collided with a rickshaw in Bahawalpur on late Wednesday night.
According to details, the road mishap took place at the Vehari Road where an over-speeding truck hit a rickshaw, killing three persons on the spot while three others were seriously injured.
The ill-fated rickshaw was going to wedding ceremony in Hasilpur.
After getting information, rescue teams reached the spot and moved the dead and injured to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital.
Rescue sources said that the deceased were identified as 18-year-old Mehreen, 15-year-old Nasra and 14-year-old Ahmed. (04)
