Funeral prayers of Veteran actor Abid Ali will be offered today

KARACHI: 06,SEPTEMBER,2019: Funeral prayers of veteran actor Abid Ali will be offered today in Ayesha Mosque Baharia Town, Karachi.
The actor had been battling with liver disease for some time for which he was being treated at a hospital in Karachi.
Ali was admitted in the intensive care unit at Karachi’s Liaquat National Hospital after being diagnosed with liver disease.
Hospital administration confirmed that he breathed his last at 9 pm, September 5.
Abid Ali was born in Quetta.
He received the prestigious Presidential award, Pride of Performance.
He has three daughters, including Rahma and model and actor Iman.
He was recently seen in the film Heer Maan Ja alongside Ali Rehman Khan and Hareem Farooq and drama Mera Rab Waris.
Abid worked in numerous dramas such as Mehendi, Diyar-e-Dil, Daldal, Moorat, Rukhsati, Baitiyaan, Bad Gumaan, Gushtakh Ishq, Naagin and others.
After news broke of his demise, tributes began pouring in from the acting fraternity. (04)
