Global Covid infections cross 276 million, deaths reach 5,385,347

WASHINGTON: 22, DECEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 276 million (276,593,370) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,385,347 lives worldwide so far and 248,103,543 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 52,253,848 and the total number of deaths has reached 830,990.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,758,481 cases with 478,325 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,219,477 patients and 617,991 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 11,542,143 and death toll rose to 147,433.
In Russia, 10,267,719 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 299,249.
Turkey reported 9,209,740 cases so far while death toll jumped to 80,778.
The coronavirus has infected 8,6713,756 people in France and left 121,946 dead.
Germany registered 6,869,495 patients with 109,759 deaths.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,175,782 and 131,167 have been died.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,585,054 with 88,887 deaths.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 135,931 in Italy while 5,436,143 infections recorded.
Argentina recorded 5,404,380 COVID-19 cases with 116,953 fatalities so far.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,110,788 and death toll crossed 129,534.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 144,024 with 4,260,893 people affected. (04)
