Global corona cases cross 255 million, deaths hit 5,138,953

LONDON: 18, NOVEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 infections worldwide passed 255 million (255,731,421) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,138,953 lives worldwide so far and 231,122,256 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 48,287,925 and the total number of deaths has reached 787,984.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,478,517 cases with 464,623 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,977,661 patients and 611,898 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 9,675,058 and death toll rose to 143,360.
In Russia, 8,182,538 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 259,084.
Turkey reported 8,480,986 cases so far while death toll jumped to 74,202.
The coronavirus has infected 7,330,958 people in France and left 118,321 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,057,893 and 128,531 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,310,334 COVID-19 cases with 116,313 fatalities so far.
Germany registered 5,169,657 patients with 98,908 deaths.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,067,712 with 87,775 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,038,544 and death toll crossed 127,912.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 132,965 in Italy while 4,883,242 infections recorded.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 143,698 with 4,251,945 people affected. (04)
