Global corona claims 5,446,262 lives, cases pass 286 million

LONDON: 31, DECEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 286 million (286,871,928) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,446,262 lives worldwide so far and 253,166,889 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 55,252,823 and the total number of deaths has reached 845,745.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,838,804 cases with 481,080 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,277,239 patients and 619,024 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 12,748,050 and death toll rose to 148,421.
In Russia, 10,479,344 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 307,948.
The coronavirus has infected 9,740,600 people in France and left 123,552 dead.
Turkey reported 9,441,764 cases so far while death toll jumped to 82,198.
Germany registered 7,142,982 patients with 112,512 deaths.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 6,294,745 with 89,405 deaths.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,192,698 and 131,572 have been died.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 137,247 in Italy while 5,981,428 infections recorded.
Argentina recorded 5,606,745 COVID-19 cases with 117,146 fatalities so far.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,147,039 and death toll crossed 129,901.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 144,088 with 4,262,540 people affected. (04)
