Global corona infections pass 462 million, death toll hits 6,074,598

LONDON: 16, MARCH, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 462 million (462,110,787) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 6,074,598 lives worldwide so far and 395,312,051 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 81,244,936 and the total number of deaths has reached 992,302.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 42,998,938 cases with 516,103 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 29,432,274 patients and 655,649 deaths.
The coronavirus has infected 23,649,615 people in France and left 140,440 dead.
In UK, the virus infections reached 19,820,181 and death toll rose to 163,095.
Germany registered 17,567,738 patients with 126,532 deaths.
In Russia, 17,449,438 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 362,478.
Turkey reported 14,600,683 cases so far while death toll jumped to 96,735.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 157,177 in Italy while 13,489,319 infections recorded.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 11,260,040 with 101,416 deaths.
Argentina recorded 8,981,155 COVID-19 cases with 127,295 fatalities so far.
The death toll from Coronavirus in South korea has risen nearly 11,052 with 7,629,275 people affected.
The number of cases in Netherlands surged 7,266,972 and death toll crossed 21,725.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 7,130,129 and 139,180 have been died.
