Global coronavirus cases exceed 238 million, deaths touch 4,867,294

WASHINGTON: 11, OCTOBER, 2021: The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has passed 238 million (238,652,893) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,867,294 lives worldwide so far and 215,856,030 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 45,204,373 and the total number of deaths has reached 733,575.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 33,971,607 cases with 450,814 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,575,820 patients and 601,047 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 8,154,306 and death toll rose to 137,735.
In Russia, 7,775,365 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 216,415.
Turkey reported 7,444,552 cases so far while death toll jumped to 66,180.
The coronavirus has infected 7,056,511 people in France and left 117,052 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,702,890 and 122,592 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,265,859 COVID-19 cases with 115,473 fatalities so far.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,973,619 with 86,778 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,972,236 and death toll crossed 126,623.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 131,301 in Italy while 4,700,316 infections recorded.
Germany registered 4,329,382 patients with 95,033 deaths.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 142,651, with 4,227,932 people affected.
On the other hand, Mexico reported 3,723,235 cases so far with 282,086 fatalities. (04)
