Global coronavirus cases pass 224 million, death toll reaches 4,621,180

WASHINGTON: 10, SEPTEMBER, 2021: The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has passed 224 million (224,047,692) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,621,180 lives worldwide so far and 200,632,332 patients have been recuperated.

Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 10 affected countries:

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 41,561,156 and the total number of deaths has reached 674,547. 

India, the second hardest-hit country reported 33,163,004 cases with 442,046 deaths.

Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 20,958,899 patients and 585,205 deaths.

In UK, the virus infections reached 7,132,072 and death toll rose to 133,841.

In Russia, 7,084,284 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 190,376.

The coronavirus has infected 6,877,825 people in France and left 115,362 dead.

Turkey reported 6,590,414 cases so far while death toll jumped to 59,170.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,237,799 and 112,935 have been died.

Argentina recorded 5,218,993 COVID-19 cases with 112,935 fatalities so far.

The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,925,000 and death toll crossed 125,480.

Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,903,021 with 85,218 deaths.

The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 129,766 in Italy while 4,590,941 infections recorded.

Indonesia reported 4,153,355 cases so far with 138,116 fatalities.

On the other hand, Germany registered 4,058,940 patients with 93,040 deaths.

The death toll from Coronavirus in Mexico has risen 266,150 with 3,479,999 people affected. (04)
