LONDON: 23, OCTOBER, 2021: The number of Covid-19 cases worldwide has crossed 243 million (243,745,106) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,953,505 lives worldwide so far and 220,869,669 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 46,264,596 and the total number of deaths has reached 755,721.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,159,562 cases with 453,742 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,711,843 patients and 605,211 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 8,689,949 and death toll rose to 139,326.
In Russia, 8,168,305 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 228,453.
Turkey reported 7,800,796 cases so far while death toll jumped to 68,700.
The coronavirus has infected 7,114,572 people in France and left 117,440 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,844,589 and 124,928 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,278,910 COVID-19 cases with 115,819 fatalities so far.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,997,732 with 87,132 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,988,021 and death toll crossed 126,994.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 131,763 in Italy while 4,733,557 infections recorded.
