Global coronavirus claims 5,287,475 lives so far, cases cross 267 million

WASHINGTON: 08, DECEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 cases worldwide crossed 267 million (267,440,224) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,287,475 lives worldwide so far and 240,892,659 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 50,270,136 and the total number of deaths has reached 812,205.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,656,822 cases with 473,952 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,157,726 patients and 616,067 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 10,560,341 and death toll rose to 145,826.
In Russia, 9,864,845 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 283,644.
Turkey reported 8,943,837 cases so far while death toll jumped to 78,215.
The coronavirus has infected 7,987,591 people in France and left 119,899 dead.
Germany registered 6,270,761 patients with 104,361 deaths.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,141,335 and 130,356 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,346,242 COVID-19 cases with 116,703 fatalities so far.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,246,766 with 88,237 deaths.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 134,386 in Italy while 5,134,318 infections recorded.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,084,466 and death toll crossed 128,874.
