Global coronavirus death toll touches 2,364,938

WASHINGTON: 11, FEBRUARY, 2021: The countries all over the world are facing continuous spike in COVID-19 related cases and deaths, despite the strict restrictions.
The number of coronavirus cases recorded worldwide has crossed 107 million (107,853,095), according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 2,364,938 lives worldwide so far and 79,855,937 patients have been recuperated.
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 27,897,214 and the total number of deaths has reached 483,200.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 10,871,060 cases with 155,399 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 9,662,305 patients and 234,945 deaths.
In Russia, 4,012,710 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 78,134.
South Africa, the fifth highest number of infections in the world, after the US, Brazil, India and Russia. The death toll from Coronavirus in South Africa has risen nearly 47,140, with 1,482,412 people affected.
In UK, the virus infections reached 3,985,161 and death toll rose to 114,851.
On the other hand, Mexico reported 1,957,889 cases so far with 169,760 fatalities.
The coronavirus has infected more than 3,385,622 people in France and left 80,443 dead.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 3,023,601 with 63,704 deaths.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 1,488,981 and 58,686 have been died.
Turkey reported 2,556,837 cases so far while death toll jumped to 27,093.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 92,338 in Italy while 2,668,266 infections recorded.
Germany registered 2,311,297 patients with 63,979 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 2,173,347 and death toll crossed 56,733.
