Global coronavirus deaths hit 4,270,233, cases pass 201 million

WASHINGTON: 05, AUGUST, 2021: The countries all over the world are facing continuous rise in Covid-19 related infections and fatalities. The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has crossed 201 million (201,005,476) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,270,233 lives worldwide so far and 181,006,410 patients have been recuperated.

Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 10 affected countries:

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 36,176,471 and the total number of deaths has reached 631,299. 

India, the second hardest-hit country reported 31,810,782 cases with 426,321 deaths.

Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 20,026,533 patients and 559,715 deaths.

In Russia, 6,356,784 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 161,715.

The coronavirus has infected 6,207,416 people in France and left 112,046 dead.

In UK, the virus infections reached 5,952,756 and death toll rose to 130,000.

Turkey reported 5,822,487 cases so far while death toll jumped to 51,767.

Argentina recorded 4,975,616 COVID-19 cases with 106,747 fatalities so far.

The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,815,063 and death toll crossed 121,695.

Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,545,184 with 81,844 deaths.

The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 128,136 in Italy while 4,369,964 infections recorded.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 4,019,084 and 92,240 have been died.

Germany registered 3,785,981 patients with 92,240 deaths.

On the other hand, Indonesia reported 3,532,567 cases so far with 100,636 fatalities.

The death toll from Coronavirus in Mexico has risen 242,547 with 2,901,094 people affected. (04)
