Global covid deaths pass 6,051,430, infections hit 453 million

LONDON: 11, MARCH, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 453 million (453,773,437) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 6,051,430 lives worldwide so far and 387,872,677 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 81,108,786 and the total number of deaths has reached 991,260.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 42,984,261 cases with 515,745 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 29,249,903 patients and 654,147 deaths.
The coronavirus has infected 23,308,880 people in France and left 139,880 dead.
In UK, the virus infections reached 19,457,976 and death toll rose to 162,624.
In Russia, 17,191,300 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 358,911.
Germany registered 16,636,606 patients with 125,669 deaths.
Turkey reported 14,488,373 cases so far while death toll jumped to 96,094.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 156,493 in Italy while 13,214,498 infections recorded.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 11,204,125 with 101,077 deaths.
Argentina recorded 8,961,595 COVID-19 cases with 127,009 fatalities so far.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 7,113,591 and 138,572 have been died.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Netherlands has risen nearly 21,675 with 6,986,628 people affected.
