Govt convenes NA, Senate sessions on January 22

ISLAMABAD: 20, JANUARY, 2021: The federal government has convened the Senate and National Assembly sessions on January 22 at 10:00 am and 10:30 am respectively.
Adviser to the PM on Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Babar Awan called on PM Imran Khan today (Wednesday).
During the discussion, both agreed to hold the sessions on same day.
Babar Awan said, "The PDM’s narrative of politics of protest has failed before the nation. The opposition should now play a practical part in the Parliament to serve people instead of spreading unrest."
He said guidance was sought from the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) before summoning the Parliament sessions. (04)
