Hyderabad: Fire breaks out as transformer explodes

HYDERABAD: 13, SEPTEMBER, 2021: Fire erupted in pole-mounted transformer (PMT) when it exploded in Hyderabad on Monday.
Third electricity transformer has exploded in Hyderabad in the recent past, luckily no loss of life or injuries was reported.
According to details, the pole-mounted transformer caught fire following an explosion, the blast was so loud that residents of the adjoining areas came out of their houses in fear.
Earlier, July 23, multiple lives lost when a Pole Mounted Transformer (PMT) exploded in Latifabad Unit 8 area, near Akbari Ground, Hyderabad.
Three motorbikes and a rickshaw also damaged in the incident.
After getting information about the mishap, police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to Civil Hospital for medical treatment. (04)
