Global death toll from Covid-19 reaches 4,937,681

LONDON: 21, OCTOBER, 2021: The number of Covid-19 cases worldwide has crossed 242 million (242,811,266) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,937,681 lives worldwide so far and 220,107,438 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 46,092,362 and the total number of deaths has reached 751,811.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,127,450 cases with 452,844 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,680,489 patients and 604,303 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 8,589,737 and death toll rose to 139,031.
In Russia, 8,094,825 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 226,353.
Turkey reported 7,744,139 cases so far while death toll jumped to 68,274.
The coronavirus has infected 7,102,079 people in France and left 117,376 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,821,737 and 124,585 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,275,984 COVID-19 cases with 115,770 fatalities so far.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,993,295 with 87,082 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,984,751 and death toll crossed 126,931.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 131,688 in Italy while 4,725,887 infections recorded.
Germany registered 4,429,019 patients with 95,668 deaths.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 143,077, with 4,237,201 people affected.
