SRINAGAR: 20, OCTOBER, 2021: Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Shopian district today (Wednesday). According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Draged area of the district.
Earlier, on October 12, at least five Indian personnel including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), were killed in an attack in Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to KMS, the troops were killed in an attack when they were engaged in a cordon and search operation in Surankote area of the district.
An Indian army spokesman, Lt. Col. Devender Anand said that a reinforcement of Indian soldiers and police was sent to the area. The fighting was ongoing. he added.
On Monday, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth in two districts of disputed valley. As per the Kashmir Media Service (KMS), youth named Imtiyaz Ahmad martyred by Indian forces during a cordon and search operation at Shahgund area of Bandipore district where four youth were also apprehended by the troops.
On the other hand, another youth was killed in violent cordon and search operation at Khagund area of Islamabad district.
During an operation, Indian police man was also injured. He was moved to nearby hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, over 900 Kashmiris were detained by Indian police in the occupied valley.
As per Indian media, the arrests have been made in one of the biggest ever crackdown operations launched by India in the territory.
The operation has been launched on the pretext attacks on some civilians in Kashmir, which killed a Kashmiri Pandit businessman Makhan Lal Bindroo and two teachers.
It is pertinent to mention here that All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other Hurriyat organizations in their statements have described the killing as the artifact of Indian secret agencies to defame the ongoing freedom movement in occupied Kashmir.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has demanded a probe into the killings by the United Nations. (04)
