JUI-F's student bodies mostly sided with progressive student bodies in KPK and massively helped resist IJT's advances

Karachi: 25 December 2021: While Fawad Chaudhry is at calling out JUI-F, there needs to be a Federal Government backed investigation into the systematic use of terror by IJT in all public universities of Pakistan. Remember, IJT is run by JI, not JUI-F. And yes, JUI-F's student bodies have mostly always sided with progressive student bodies in KPK and massively helped resist IJT's advances - speaking from actual experience thanks.
It's high time that the State take cognizance of the unchecked violence that IJT does in all public campuses of Pakistan. We've all been fighting this fight during our student times, myself included, but we need a composite action now.
From my own experience, the student wing of JI in public campuses is almost always violent, misogynistic, and thuggish. And they've permeated the administration and faculty of all campuses so they operate with impunity.
If we want Pakistan out of the Grey List of FATF, curbing quasi-militant student bodies in our campuses is crucial. And we all know that means IJT.
