Karachi: Fire erupts at telephone exchange on II Chundrigar road

KARACHI: 30, NOVEMBER, 2021: A fire erupted at an telephone exchange on II Chundrigar road in Karachi on Tuesday.
According to details, footage showed huge plumes of smoke rising in the air.
On receiving information about the incident, two fire tenders reached the spot and put out the flames.
Rescue officials said that fiber cable and trees were damaged in the fire.
Yesterday night, fire broke out in the huts located in Nagan Chowrangi area of Karachi which spread rapidly and engulfed several nearby huts.
Police sources said that the fire broke out in a hut following a cylinder explosion.
Six fire brigade vehicles and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and extinguished the fire after a hectic effort of several hours.
No human loss was reported in the incident. (04)
