Global Covid-19 infections pass 239 Million, death toll touches 4,872,799

WASHINGTON: 12, OCTOBER, 2021: The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has passed 239 million (239,037,141) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,872,799 lives worldwide so far and 216,298,498 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 45,313,353 and the total number of deaths has reached 734,611.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 33,985,920 cases with 450,991 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,582,738 patients and 601,266 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 8,193,769 and death toll rose to 137,763.
In Russia, 7,804,774 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 217,372.
Turkey reported 7,475,115 cases so far while death toll jumped to 66,368.
The coronavirus has infected 7,057,631 people in France and left 117,082 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,716,394 and 122,868 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,266,275 COVID-19 cases with 115,491 fatalities so far.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,977,448 with 86,827 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,973,325 and death toll crossed 126,655.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 131,335 in Italy while 4,701,832 infections recorded.
Germany registered 4,334,254 patients with 95,087 deaths.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 142,716, with 4,228,552 people affected.
