LONDON: 26, OCTOBER, 2021: The Covid-19 infections worldwide crossed 244 million (244,838,010) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,970,294 lives worldwide so far and 221,971,074 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 46,417,525 and the total number of deaths has reached 757,849.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,202,202 cases with 455,100 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,735,560 patients and 605,884 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 8,809,774 and death toll rose to 139,571.
In Russia, 8,279,573 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 231,669.
Turkey reported 7,879,468 cases so far while death toll jumped to 69,344.
The coronavirus has infected 7,127,163 people in France and left 117,508 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,868,360 and 125,363 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,281,585 COVID-19 cases with 115,851 fatalities so far.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,002,217 with 87,186 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,992,586 and death toll crossed 127,099.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 131,856 in Italy while 4,743,720 infections recorded.
Germany registered 4,480,066 patients with 95,794 deaths.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 143,235 with 4,240,479 people affected.
On the other hand, Mexico reported 3,784,448 cases so far with 286,496 fatalities. (04)
