Karachi: Valuables reduce to ashes as fire engulfs Chawla Market

KARACHI: 11, OCTOBER, 2021: Fire that erupted in Chawla Market in Nazimabad No 1 area of Karachi and gutted multiple shops, pushcarts and stalls, has been doused. According to details, the fire broke out in the stalls set up in front of the shops in Chawla Market which spread rapidly and engulfed several shops in the market. Six fire brigade vehicles reached the spot after being informed and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of two hours. Sources said that, no human loss was reported in the incident. However, valuables worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes by the fire. Sources further said that the cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
