KARACHI: 30, MARCH, 2021: At least three people lost their lives while four others were seriously wounded in two separate road mishaps in Karachi on Monday night.

According to details, the first accident took place near Manghopir Chowrangi where an over-speeding trailer collided with a rickshaw, as a result, two persons died on the spot and three others were injured.

After getting information, police and rescue teams reached the spot and transferred the dead and injured to Civil Hospital, Karachi.

As per rescue sources, the deceased were identified as 20-year-old Sadiq and six-year-old Nazim.

On the other side, another incident occurred in Baldia No-4 where a motorcycle slipped owing to over-speeding, resulting motorcycle rider died on the spot and other was injured.

Rescue teams rushed at the location after being informed and moved the dead and injured to hospital. 

Earlier this month, at least two persons were dead while another was injured in a road crash in Karachi on Tuesday night. According to details, the road mishap happened near Pir Bakhsh Goth, area of Korangi in Karachi where an over-speeding truck collided with a motorcycle, as a result of collision, two boys died on the spot and another was seriously injured.

After getting information about the accident, rescue teams reached the spot and moved the dead and injured to Jinnah Hospital.

According to rescue sources, the deceased were identified as 10-year-old Saqib and 12-year-old Ahtisham while 18-year-old Asad wounded in the incident.

The driver of the truck managed to flee from the scene after the accident. (04)
