Khushab: Van, truck collision claims 7 lives, injures 10

KHUSHAB: 17, FEBRUARY, 2021: At least seven persons were dead while 10 others were wounded in a road accident in Khushab on Wednesday morning.
According to details, the fatal accident took place near Botala village in Khushab where passenger van collided with a truck.
Heavy fog was the cause of the accident, sources said.
After getting information, rescue teams reached the spot and transferred the dead and injured to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Khushab.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
On Tuesday night, at least two people were dead while 20 others were critically injured in two separate road mishaps in Punjab.
According to details, the first accident took place in Chak Bhaley near Muridke where an over-speeding passenger bus overturned, as a result, two people died on the spot while 18 others were seriously wounded.
After being informed about the incident, rescue workers rushed at the location and moved the dead and injured to hospital where the four of the injured were referred to Lahore owing to critical condition.
The second incident occurred in village Matem near Sukheke where a rescue team vehicle met an accident, injuring two officials.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical aid. (04)
