Lahore: Two hurt after car plunges into canal

LAHORE: 10, OCTOBER, 2020: At least two persons were seriously injured when a car plunged into canal in Lahore on late Friday night.
According to details, the incident occurred in the Mughalpura area of Lahore where a speeding car collided with a motorcycle and then skidded off the road and plunged into canal.
As a result, two people they were riding in the car were critically wounded.
Earlier, on September 22, as much as seven people were dead and several injured when a passenger bus fell into a deep ravine near Ejazabad in Chakwal district on Monday.
Rescue teams reached the spot to retrieve the victims from the gorge.
The dead and injured passengers were shifted to a nearby hospital.
The deceased included four women and three male passengers.
