SUKKUR: Feb 7, 2023: The body of a missing Sindh united Party (SUP) lobbyist, Haseeb Junejo, 35, was found dumped close to Zero Point, along the Indus Stream, inside the purview of the Qadirpur police headquarters on Monday.
Mr Junejo, who was filling in as the party's Sukkur division data secretary, had apparently disappeared in the wake of leaving his home in the New Pind region on Sunday night.
The region police said the man was exposed to serious torment and killed with some sharp weapon. The body was taken to the taluka medical clinic for a postmortem assessment, they added.
The SUP focal initiative firmly denounced the "horrifying homicide" of Haseeb Junejo, saying that his secretive vanishing and fierce homicide brought up many issues.
In an explanation, SUP executive Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah and president Syed Zain Shah said "such occurrences put a question mark on the presentation of policing". They said the homicide of a functioning and harmony cherishing SUP specialist was an "demonstration of open illegal intimidation", adding that the individuals who were shedding blood of blameless residents in the wake of hijacking them didn't merit being exonerated.
They said it was anything but a first occurrence of its sort, and requested a legal test into the torment and murder of Mr Junejo.
The assertion, gave in Karachi on Monday, guaranteed that Haseeb Junejo was grabbed and exposed to third-degree torment; portions of his body were slashed off with some sharp weapon.
Those engaged with the abhorrent homicide should be reprimanded, the articulation said.
