Maaz Khan wins a Silver medal for Pakistan in Wushu Championship

BEIJING: May 19, 2018: Pakistan’s Maaz Khan won the silver medal in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization International Wushu Sanda Championship Tournament being held in China.
Khan had to settle for a silver medal in the 75 kg of the championship after he suffered a foot injury in the second round and had to forfeit the match against his Chinese Competitor.
Khan knocked out India’s Pawan Gupta on Friday in the semifinal of the tournament, Meanwhile Zahoor Ahmed also defeated his indian counterpart to go through the final of the 52 kg category.
The tournament took off on May 16, and will continue for four days as the finals will be played this Sunday. (01)
