Man shot dead by robbers on resistance in Karachi

KARACHI: 25, JANUARY, 2021: A man was shot dead by bandits on resistance during a dacoity incident in Karachi on Monday.
According to details, the tragic incident took place in the Light House locality's Chapal Gali, in Karachi where a trader gunned down while resisting a robbery bid.
Police said that the robbers looted Rs1.5 million cash from him besides looting two shops and a warehouse.
On offering resistance, the armed men shot dead him on the spot and fled, police added.
After being informed, a police team reached the crime scene and moved the dead body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police have launched a search operation to arrest the suspects. (04)
